Despite the slightly chilly weather, the Bethesda Central Farm Market opened for the season to a crowd of hungry market patrons Sunday.
This year marks the market's third season. It will take place from 9-1 on Sundays along Elm Street between Wisconsin and Woodmont Avenues and along Bethesda Lane on Thursdays from 11a.m. to 3p.m.
The Bethesda Central Farm Market is one of Bethesda's three farmers markets. The Montgomery Farm Women's Cooperative Market on Wisconsin Avenue runs year-round, and Bethesda's FRESHFARM market in Veteran's Park will open for the season May 7.
